Tulsa top in state for manufacturing jobs

Tulsa is the leader in Oklahoma in regard to manufacturing employment, according to industrial directory Oklahoma Manufacturers Register.

The register is published annually by Evanston, Ill. - based Manufacturers’ News Inc.

For Tulsa, it reports 46,846 manufacturing jobs in August 2011 – up 1.5 percent from August 2010.
